Установил Slackware 13 на ноут Asus Eee 1001px, после сборки ядра 2.6.35 определилось все железо, проблем не имею, за исключением отсутствия звука при подключении наушников. У этого ноута идиотский совмещенный разъем для наушников и микрофона, в винде определение программное (при подключении задается вопрос), в линуксах этот костыль не работает, естественно.
В наушниках слышно слабое шипение, при этом проигрыватель работает нормально, т.е. обработка звука идет, но на выход он не попадает, судя по всему. Настраивал звук через alsaconf - alsamixer - alsactl store, в ядре ALSA собрал модулем, OSS отключил. Читал на убунтовском форуме про аналогичные проблемы, но там их решали путем переустановки пакетов pulseaudio и регулировки звука утилитами вроде pavucontrol, которые в слаке юзать невозможно. Как я понимаю, мне надо где-то в настройках изменить уровень громкости, че-нибудь подкрутить, но не представляю, что именно, никогда этим раньше не занимался. Хочется найти универсальное решение, не привязанное к гуевым утилитам одного-единственного дистрибутива.
